Gentle, light pressure

This is a gentle, light pressure manual therapy approach rooted in early osteopathic principles, addressing the body, head, and nervous system by using the craniosacral rhythm.

With these techniques we can help support the natural movements, effect structural change and enhance the body's ability to heal itself.

Please note that this is traditionally done fully clothed and appointments should only be 60-minutes.

We can happily add additional time using a different style of massage if you choose to book for 90- or 120-minutes.

Very light, gentle massage to promote lymph flow.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a gentle, rhythmic technique designed to encourage the natural movement of lymph through the body.

It helps reduce swelling, support immune function, and promote relaxation by assisting the body in clearing excess fluid and waste.

This soothing massage is especially beneficial for post-surgery recovery, inflammation, and overall wellness.

Massage tailored towards each individual pregnancy.

Nurturing massage tailored for expecting individuals, focusing on relieving pregnancy-related discomfort, improving circulation, and supporting emotional and physical well-being throughout pregnancy.

Extra pillows and cushions will be used to position each body comfortably. You have the option of laying on your stomach (special pregnancy pillow), back (recliner position), or your sides.

Throughout the massage the position will be changed based on comfort and areas being massaged.

Fremont Studio Massage Therapy

Light to medium pressure, no focus on problem areas.

Swedish style massage. Gentle, soothing strokes designed to calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote balance, relaxation, and overall well-being.

Designed to be a full body massage with no targeted work but more time can be spent in areas of need.

Any pressure, targeted massage.

Targeted massage therapy for specific problems.

This is not meant to be a full body massage, it is designed to target the area of concern and work solely on that issue but if you book a longer session then we can address more areas of concern.

Very light, gentle massage inside the mouth.

Intra-oral massage focuses on the muscles and connective tissue inside the mouth that contribute to jaw movement and alignment.

Using gloved hands, the therapist gently works the muscles of the cheeks, jaw, and around the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).

This technique can help:

    • Relieve jaw pain, stiffness, or tension

    • Reduce teeth grinding and clenching (bruxism)

    • Improve jaw mobility and function

    • Ease headaches

    • Ear pain

    • Facial tension caused by TMJ dysfunction

    • Support recovery from dental work or orthodontic treatment

  • This type of massage is deeply therapeutic for clients who experience chronic jaw pain, TMJ issues, or stress-related clenching. While it may feel unusual at first, most clients find it both effective and relieving.

This can be added into another style of massage for no extra cost. Just ask your massage therapist.

Is a gentle, focused technique that supports the health and function of the digestive system while also helping the body relax on a deeper level.

By working with the muscles, fascia, and organs of the abdomen, this treatment can:

  • Encourage healthy digestion and relieve bloating or gas

  • Ease abdominal tension and discomfort

  • Support the body in reducing constipation

  • Improve circulation and lymphatic flow in the core

  • Help release stored stress and promote overall relaxation

    • This type of massage is performed with care and sensitivity, always within your comfort level.

Many clients find that abdominal massage not only supports digestive health but also leaves them feeling lighter, calmer, and more balanced.

This can be added into another style of massage for no extra cost. Just ask your massage therapist.

Medium to firm, active participation and stretching

This type of massage is typically done with clothes on. Make sure to be prepared with clothes that you can move and stretch.

We will actively be working together to resist and stretch different areas of the body depending on where your ailments are and your goals for the session.

Targeted techniques that reach deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue to relieve chronic tension, support recovery, and enhance athletic performance.

Can be done in 60, 90 or 120 minute increments.

Gentle and light, targeted massage for the soft tissue of the chest and breast.

Your session begins with a comprehensive health history review, an essential step in providing safe and effective breast massage.

Certain conditions, such as infections, unexplained breast discharge, or undiagnosed lumps, may require medical evaluation before treatment.

Additionally, some health conditions, including current cancer or past cancer treatment, heart disease or diabetes, can contribute to breast discomfort and should be discussed with your healthcare provider.

During this conversation, we will also discuss your breast health goals and your preferences for draping and treatment, including receiving massage over clothing, through a sheet or drape, or with direct skin contact.

Every session is tailored to your individual needs, therapeutic goals, and comfort level to ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive experience.

Please contact me if you would like more information.

Firm technique for muscle scraping with a tool.

A traditional East Asian technique using a smooth tool to release fascia tension, improve circulation, and support lymphatic drainage for overall wellness.

The pressure and technique can be customized to address chronic tension, scar tissue, and areas of discomfort while encouraging relaxation and recovery.

Not for people with sensitive skin, bruising or blood clotting disorders.

Temporary color and texture changes to the skin will occur for a short time after.

Suction cups used on different restricted areas of the body.

Massage cupping uses silicone or specialized cups to create gentle suction on the skin and underlying tissues.
The cups may remain stationary or be moved across the body to help release muscle tension, increase circulation, improve tissue mobility, and support lymphatic drainage.

This technique can be beneficial for areas of chronic tightness, restricted movement, and muscular discomfort.

Temporary circular marks or discoloration may occur and typically fade within several days.

Fremont Studio Massage Therapy

Very light, nurturing massage.

Detailed medical questions will be asked to ensure safety.

Light massage for infants.

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) for infants is a gentle, hands-on approach that uses light touch to support relaxation and release tension within the head, neck, and body.

This non-invasive therapy may help soothe fussiness, encourage restful sleep, and support feeding by addressing areas of tension that can affect comfort and movement.

Sessions are tailored to each infant's needs and are provided in a calm, nurturing environment that promotes relaxation and well-being.

Why I do what I do:

I became a massage therapist because I've always had a genuine passion for helping people.

Over the years, I've seen firsthand how powerful massage therapy can be. Whether it's relieving chronic pain, reducing stress, recovering from an injury, or helping someone feel more connected to their body again, it's incredibly rewarding to be part of that journey.

Creating Off Kilter Massage Therapy PLLC was the first step toward building the practice I've always envisioned. One where I can support people living with pain, recovering from injuries, or navigating the lasting effects of physical or emotional trauma.

While I've loved working alongside other practitioners throughout my career, I realized I wanted to create a space that truly reflects my own values and approach to care. At Off Kilter Massage Therapy, I'm able to practice intentionally, without outside pressures or limitations. Every session is guided by what you need that day, not by insurance requirements, time constraints, or a one-size-fits-all treatment plan.

I believe your body has an incredible capacity to heal. My role is to listen, support, and help create the conditions for that healing to happen. Together, we'll choose the techniques and level of comfort that feel right for you, while working to restore balance, reduce pain, and help you move through life with greater ease.

I look forward to being part of your wellness journey.
